East Rutherford, NJ --- As
track announcer Ken
Warkentin proclaimed, “Like
a slingshot,” Buck I St Pat came from four wide off the final turn to win
the $250,000 Breeders Crown for trotting mares on Saturday night (Aug. 22)
at the Meadowlands in a stakes record time of 1:52. The previous record of
1:53.1 was set by Peaceful Way in 2005
