Buck I St Pat won 10 of 14 starts last year and was named champion older trotting mare for 2008. Her team will try to have her repeat as champ and if all goes well her many fans may get to see her defend her titles in 2010.

East Rutherford, NJ --- As track announcer Ken Warkentin proclaimed, “Like a slingshot,” Buck I St Pat came from four wide off the final turn to win the $250,000 Breeders Crown for trotting mares on Saturday night (Aug. 22) at the Meadowlands in a stakes record time of 1:52. After throwing in a clunker in last weekend’s final of the Armbro Flight Stake at Mohawk Racetrack, Buck I St Pat bounced back with an ultra-impressive score in the second leg of the Miss Versatility Trotting Series on Sunday at Tioga Downs.
World champion Buck I St Pat turned in a 1:53.3 clocking to take the fastest of two $50,000 eliminations for the Armbro Flight Stakes for older trotting mares on Friday night (July 17) at Mohawk Racetrack.
